Now Hiring: Board-Certified Cardiologist

We’re actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to help expand our cardiovascular services and support our rapidly growing patient base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide direct care.

  • Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions through appropriate testing, imaging, and treatment plans.

  • Interpret lab results, EKGs, echocardiograms, arterial and venous vascular studies, stress tests (including nuclear and exercise), and stress echocardiograms.

  • Collaborate with and advise primary care providers on best practices for cardiovascular disease management.

  • Provide minimal rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns.

  • Stay current with advancements and research in cardiovascular medicine.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain one) in North Carolina.

  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to team-based, integrated care.

  • Outstanding patient service and professionalism.

  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with Athena EMR is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of full-time experience as a practicing cardiologist.

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Compassionate communicator with a patient-centered approach.
