The candidate should be comfortable directing in a fast-paced, live television environment and managing all technical aspects across broadcast platforms. Adaptability, clear communication with staff and news management, and willingness to learn digital content contribution are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct and TD live broadcasts using a Grass Valley switcher without automation Maintain the production studio Oversee and direct content for digital platforms Transfer elements into Bitcentral for playback Troubleshoot issues with Telemetrics, Bitcentral, and Chyron Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times Minimum Qualifications Experience in live directing and/or switching; knowledge of switcher concepts Ability to sit and direct for extended periods Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of television news experience preferred About Cox Media Group CMG Media Corporation, doing business as Cox Media Group, is a leading media company with renowned brands, award-winning content, and talented team members.
