Team Description

The Dropbox Engineering Team builds the technology that powers more enlightened ways of working for millions of users. Every day, platforms like Dropbox Dash , Dropbox Sign , and our core sync engine process over a billion files globally.

Machine Learning Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Frontend & Backend Product SWE, iOS/Android Engineer, Engineering Manager, Data Engineer, SDET, Security Engineer, SRE, TPM, Network Engineer, Datacenter Engineer, and Technical Supply Chain Manager.

Role Description

Dropbox is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support the buildout and operations of our global network of data centers and Points of Presence (PoPs).

This hands-on role involves physical infrastructure work, including the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networking and server hardware (routers, switches, servers).

Responsibilities

• Support datacenter operations and resolve abnormal conditions
• Troubleshoot and repair servers
• Install servers, racks, and network equipment
• Assist with infrastructure deployment and rollout
• Promote best practices for datacenter operations
• Collaborate with SRE and Network Engineering to automate processes
• Handle shipments and track server assets

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with large-scale datacenter hardware deployments
• Intermediate knowledge of network topology (fiber and copper)
• Hands-on experience with server and PC hardware
• Intermediate Linux knowledge (DNS, git, basic scripting, regex)
• Able to lift 9–23 kg daily
• Strong verbal/written communication
• Excellent time and project management skills

Compensation

France Pay Range:
€46,800—€63,400 EUR (Annual Salary)

Salary/OTE is part of Dropbox’s total rewards. Regular employees are eligible for bonuses or sales incentives (when applicable) and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
