Estimator

A manufacturing company in Waukegan is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join their team. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in ensuring accurate cost analysis and pricing for custom print projects. The Estimator will work closely with the sales and production teams to evaluate project specifications, prepare competitive quotes, and support on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities of the Estimator

• Analyze project specifications and customer requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
• Prepare detailed job quotes for offset and related print services
• Collaborate with sales, production, and clients to ensure pricing aligns with expectations and capabilities
• Identify materials, labor, and time requirements for each project
• Ensure quotes are completed accurately and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools
• Support production planning with cost and time projections

Requirements of the Estimator

• Must have experience with offset printing
• Strong background in cost estimation and quote preparation
• Working knowledge of printing processes, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience

1st shift,  DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $65,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience
