Job Title: Estimator

Department: Customer Experience

Reports to: Customer Support Team Lead

Location: Remote or in-office if located in Iowa City area

As part of our growing Customer Experience team, we're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Estimator to help bring our signature roofs to life across homes and buildings nationwide.

What You’ll Do:

As an Estimator, you’ll be the backbone of our quoting process - reviewing architectural plans, calculating material needs, and delivering accurate, timely project quotes. You’ll collaborate closely with our customers, contractors, and internal teams to support successful project planning from day one.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Estimate with Precision

• Perform material takeoffs using PlanSwift for steep-slope residential and commercial roofing projects
• Review construction drawings and plans to calculate required quantities and recommend the best Brava products for the job

Communicate with Impact

• Deliver polished proposals and quotes to homeowners, contractors, and architects
• Provide exceptional support by clearly explaining quotes and fielding questions

Support Strategic Accounts

• Partner with Sales, Account Managers, Product Specialists, and Customer Support to plan and support key accounts
• Log and track activity in Salesforce, contributing to accurate pipeline and performance data

Keep Us Organized

• Maintain thorough documentation for each project
• Protect confidential information and contribute to a respectful, high-integrity team environment

What You Bring:

• Experience reading blueprints, construction plans, or architectural drawings
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and customer-facing
• Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and stay organized
• Tech-savvy: comfortable using PlanSwift, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems like Salesforce
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bonus if you have experience conducting material takeoffs for roofing systems, especially in steep-slope residential and commercial applications

Pay:

$45,000 - $60,000; based on experience
