In this role, the successful candidate The Physician Assistant Service is dedicated to providing quality, professional, cost-effective health care to all patients at NYU Langone Hospital--Suffolk.Physician assistants (PA) practice medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician fulfilling a broad range of medical services that would otherwise be provided by the physician. The PA shall be permitted to provide any service within his/her scope of training/skills delegated by the supervising physician or the patients physician that has been approved by the Credentials Committee and is within the scope of practice of the physician.
