We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic virtual learning program. This is a remote opportunity that allows you to make a significant impact on students' lives from the comfort of your own home.

Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher, you'll play a key role in creating and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs in an online environment. We're seeking someone who is not only skilled in teaching but also passionate about using technology to support students' growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Create and deliver engaging, specialized instruction through virtual platforms, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with all federal and state regulations
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students receive the right accommodations and modifications
Track and maintain accurate student progress records and documentation
Facilitate virtual meetings with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to discuss student progress
Provide support and resources to parents/guardians to help them support their child's learning at home
Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance teaching practices and collaboration

Qualifications

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Ohio teaching license with Special Education endorsement
At least 2 years of teaching experience in a classroom or school setting
Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and educational technology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in developing and managing IEPs
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the team
